24-Hour Fitness.

So I went to the gym today, and I have to say, the cardio portion of my work out wasn't as killer as I thought it would be.

But given that on a bike you don't get a 5-minute cool down period, when I went upstairs to do some weights, my body decided to give me the middle finger. I literally was about 30 seconds from blacking out upstairs on only my 2nd weight machine. It was the first time I'd ever not had a proper cooldown period, so I know the main culprit of it all:

After riding that bike for 20 minutes, I basically dehydrated myself. My sugar level went down SUPER low super fast, and my energy level was depleted quickly. IF I hadn't stopped, or caught myself in enough time, I would've blacked out. Standing up probably kept me from doing said thing as well.

So I won't be doing that again any time soon, that's for sure. It almost ended badly.

I guess, since this is the first blog, I should say a little bit about myself, for those who come here and read it. Just to give you a better idea of what's going on, presumably.

Few simple facts:

- I'm 21 years old.
- I'm an Information Technology major at GSU.
- I'm a member of the greek organization Tau Beta Sigma, which, at GSU, focuses on helping the marching band program and concert band program.
- I'm a heavy NASCAR fan [my favorite driver is Jeff Gordon].
- I'm an avid photography person. I LOVE taking pictures.
- I live in Statesboro full-time. My family lives on the West Coast, but I made the decision to stay in Georgia and finish school. I've grown up in GA, and it's more suited for me.

There's more about me, but if I told it all now there'd be nothing left to write about.

So until next time......

Peace easy, friends. : )
